The fault: This unit has the known factory issue where the connector clamp on the charge head doesn’t always latch/dock cleanly onto the car — Tesla acknowledged this as a fault and replaced mine free of charge for exactly this reason. It still charges fine day to day, and I used it regularly on both a Model S and a Model 3 with no issues to the cars — but you may occasionally need a couple of goes to get it to seat properly. Selling on this basis, as-is, no warranty (the replacement was issued to me personally, not transferable). Condition: Technically “new” in the sense that this isn’t wear and tear — it’s the underlying design fault, present since new. No visible damage or cable wear. Compatible with: Model S, 3, X, Y (Type 2/NACS as standard).
