I was pleasantly surprised with my purchase as I had a good experience from the start. Arrived on time and everything comes nicely presented in the storage case, making for easy unpacking. The charger itself includes all the necessary components, including a 2.3kW adapter for my car's charging unit and a Type 2 connector that fits perfectly into the provided ports.

I was happy to discover that purchasing this charger instead of the standard one I had been using with my old granny charger allowed me to upgrade to a more efficient model that can keep up with my daily charging needs. The length of this charger is impressive - it's not too long, but long enough to get the job done and doesn't take up too much space in my garage. By eliminating the need for an external extension, I was able to save some time and money.

I've found that this charger charges my car at a rate that suits me fine, with speeds of approximately 1.8/1.9kW per hour - perfect for daily use. The ease of use is also a major plus, as it's easy to simply plug in and let the charger do its job. We bought this unit specifically designed for our daughter's Tesla, and we're delighted with how it's performed over the past couple of weeks.

It charges at a rate of around 8-10 miles per hour, which is faster than what I'd expect from a portable charger. The device itself is surprisingly cool to the touch, not overheating despite being plugged into our garage circuit ring main.

The unit uses just one light display to indicate charging status, and it's easy to use - just a simple on/off switch for both charging and full charge. We also chose the 10m cable because we wanted to position the charger wall-mounted inside the garage and trail the wire outside under the car door to our daughter's vehicle.

The best feature of this unit is its portability, allowing my daughter to take it with her if she's visiting friends or other family members. It's also great that we can leave it in the garage while still being able to use it for charging when I'm out and about.

My experience has been so far quite satisfactory, having used the charger just a few times, and it's working perfectly as required. I purchased this model specifically for plugging into a 32A CEE socket when I have one installed, but in the meantime, I'm using a 16A CEE socket with a fly lead (16A plug to 32A socket). It's great that the output is limited to 16A as I didn't need time delay or control on the unit since I already had an app for controlling charging cycles. The display shows the charge time, output rate and total kWh - what's more, you can also record these values if you want to monitor your energy usage in more detail. The charger itself seems easy to use, with a simple click of a button changing the output setting. My supply circuits are dedicated to single appliances, so I appreciate that I can choose from multiple output options - it's always better to run a little under capacity than risk supplying too much electricity. While my home usage is limited, the 8m cable does cover an adequate range, and you don't have to worry about resetting the charger each time you use it.

The Type2 plug moulding looks a bit cheap, but it functions well enough. Overall, I'm happy with the value for money - at this price point, I feel like it's a great investment.
